5 Tips for a Successful Close

This is the homestretch of 2022.  Don't let the rest of the quarter and year slip away without a plan. 2023 will be here before we know it. Next month you may need to present your annual plan, so you need to be crystal clear on where you stand right now.  

Have you been able to achieve the goals that are important to your organization? If not, take some time and review how things are going.  Has it been smooth sailing or do you anticipate a bumpy road ahead?

Smooth sailing

It's great to see you on track! You should really start looking forward and thinking about what may need refinement next year.  Do you need to automate a process, or reach a new customer?  Too many great ideas? Prioritize those that match your organization’s values, priorities, resources and capabilities.  Use these to formulate your plan for next year.

Rough seas ahead

If you have fallen behind, it's never too late to right the ship. The worst thing you can do is wait until the last minute and hope for a miracle! Make sure that your key stakeholders know what is going on in case their plans or workloads are impacted.   Here are a few suggestions to regain control:
